Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb to meet with Susan Rice, US Permanent Representative to the United Nations

Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb will meet with Ambassador Susan Rice, US Permanent Representative to the United Nations, in Helsinki on 17 May. By virtue of her position, Ambassador Rice, a member of President Barack Obama’s close circle, also belongs to the American Cabinet.

The topics of discussion include, among others, the situation in the Middle East and North Africa, the Horn of Africa and Sudan.

Ambassador Susan Rice will also participate in the meeting of the UN High-level Panel on Global Sustainability co-chaired by President of the Republic Tarja Halonen, to take place in Helsinki on 16–17 May.
