Consulate General of Finland in New York brings the portable passport unit to Chicago (IL) in November 2022

Consulate General of Finland in New York will bring the portable passport unit to Chicago, IL, from 14 to 18 November. An appointment for passport renewal is required, and the application must be submitted in person. Identity card applications are also accepted.

Passport applications can only be processed if the applicant has a Finnish personal identification number and applicant’s personal information in the Finnish Population Information System is accurate and up-to-date (e.g., name and citizenship/s). According to the Population Information Act (661/2009), the applicant shall ensure that the personal information is correct.
