President Niinistö spoke with US President Biden

President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö and President of the United States Joseph R. Biden had a phone call on Tuesday, 18 January 2022.

The Presidents continued their earlier discussion which took place 13 December 2021. In the long conversation, the Presidents discussed European security situation, the serious tensions at the borders of Ukraine and possibilities for finding solutions.

The call was initiated by the United States.
