The Embassy of Finland in Tokyo is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor and Driver. The work is scheduled to start from December 1, 2019 or as agreed.

The Embassy of Finland in Tokyo is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor and Driver. The work is scheduled to start from December 1, 2019 or as agreed.

The Maintenance Supervisor and Driver will be working at the Chancery of the Embassy of Finland in Tokyo. The employment contract will be for a specified period of one year with an option to continue for indefinite period.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance supervisor of Embassy compound including garden and residence

  • Driver

  • Substitute for Ambassador´s driver

  • Other duties according to the instructions by the Head of Mission

     

Requirements:

  • Valid driver´s license, knowledge of traffic and safety regulations

  • Relevant education and work experience

  • Fluent written and spoken Japanese

  • Ability to communicate in English and work well with other colleagues

  • Good and polite manners

  • Ability to manage changes and flexible approach to varying demands

  • (Knowledge of Finland and Finnish language is an asset)

 

Salary and other benefits such as housing will be commensurate with experience and abilities.
