Customer service of the Consular Section
Customer service at the Consular Section requires a prior appointment, including residence permits to Finland and Finnish identity cards.
Please book your appointment online well in advance (link below). If you are no longer able to make your appointment, please also cancel it through the online booking system. We are not able to book or cancel appointments over the phone. In case of an emergency, a booked appointment is not needed.

Mondays at 10.00am–12.00noon and 2.00–4.00pm
Wednesdays and Fridays at 9.00am–12.00noon
Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2.00–4.00pm
Online appointment for passports, notarial services and residence permit applications

From July 2019 the appointments for passports, notarial services and residence permit applications at the Finnish Consulate in London must be made via VFS Global website. Please note: If you are booking an appointment for the first time via VFS Global, you will need to register for the website. When booking the appointment, you will be asked to include your passport details (passport number and expiry date). If you don’t have this information, you may use for example your phone number as passport number and the date of booking as expiry date.
Customer service for visas to Finland
In the United Kingdom a Schengen visa to Finland must be applied via the Visa Application Centres in London, Manchester or Edinburgh. Visa application must be submitted in person, and an appointment must be booked in advance.
