Customer service of the Consular Section

Please note that we require a prior appointment for all visitors to the Embassy. The appointments are booked online https://finlandappointment.fi/. If you are unable to attend your appointment, kindly cancel it well in advance so that someone else can book the appointment. 

The appointments are opened one calendar month at a time in the middle of the previous month. If the booking system does not show any appointments, the appointments are fully booked. You can track possible cancellations in the appointment booking system.

June appointments will be released on Monday 18th May, July appointments on Wednesday 17th June and August appointments on Saturday 18th July.

Please also note that the Embassy does not have a spacious waiting area or a customer toilet. Kindly arrive only five minutes before your appointment.

Passports, identity cards, citizenship and notarial services

All customers are required to pre-book an appointment via our online appointment booking system (except in emergencies).

Customer service for visas to Finland 

Schengen visa applications to Finland are submitted via VFS Global in London, Manchester and Edinburgh. More detailed information about the accepted visa categories can be found on the VFS Global website.

All customers are required to pre-book an appointment with VFS Global.
