The Embassy switchboard does not handle appointments related to passport, identity card, registration and/or citizenship matters.

Consular service
Customers for passports, identity cards, citizenship and notarial services must book an appointment beforehand.
The Finnish Embassy in London has implemented an electronic appointment booking service at finlandappointment.fi (here is the link to the service https://finlandappointment.fi/ ) for consular services (such as passport applications, identity card, notarial services and registration matters).
All available times (including possible cancellation times) are displayed in the Finlandappointment booking system, which you can monitor yourself. New appointments are always opened for one month at a time in Finlandappointment calendar.
The appointments between 3.8. - 14.9. will be open on 17th July. Due to the move of the Embassy, the customer service is closed from 15th to 18th September. The appointments between 21st September to 31th October will be open on 1st September, the November appointments will be open on 17th October and December appointments on 17th November.
If you are unable to attend at the appointment given to you, kindly cancel your appointment well in advance. Please also keep an eye on our booking system for possible cancelled appointments. Unfortunately, we are unable to respond to inquiries about appointmens or give applicants extra appointments when the appointment calendar is fully booked.
Residence permit applications to Finland are submitted via VFS Global in London, Manchester and Edinburgh. All customers are required to pre-book an appointment with VFS Global.
