Certificate of existence

A person can be issued with a certificate of existence for a reasonable purpose, such as for drawing the pension or for an estate inventory. The person must visit the mission in person and prove their identity. Finland’s honorary consuls may also issue the relevant notarial certificate.

 

Certificate of Life in the UK

Embassy of Finland in London can write a Certificate of Life (elossaolotodistus). Also Finnish Honorary Consuls and local Notary Publics can write Affidavit Certificates for the same purposes.
