The services provided by the missions are part of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs’ business services. The Ministry for Foreign Affairs is a member of Team Finland, a network of public sector actors providing internationalisation services to Finnish companies.

Kosovo’s young and dynamic economy continues to grow, with the IMF projecting 3.3% GDP growth in 2026. With Europe’s youngest population and growing investment in digitalization, energy, cybersecurity, education, health care and defence, the market offers opportunities for Finnish companies. EU investment through the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans adds further potential, while Finland’s strengths in technology, innovation and high-quality solutions provide a strong basis for expanding cooperation.

Aims of the Team Finland network in Kosovo
The aim of the Team Finland network in Kosovo is to promote Finland and Finnish companies in Kosovo and to support the cooperation between Finnish and Kosovar actors. Our goal is to bolster the competitiveness of Finland and its companies while fostering stronger trade relations between Finland and Kosovo. Our approach revolves around prioritizing the needs of our customers and placing them at the center of all our actions.
Finnish honorary consulates
Honorary consulates complement Finland’s network of missions abroad, which consists of embassies, consulates general, consulates and liaison offices. Honorary consuls are private individuals who carry out consular functions on a part-time basis without remuneration. An honorary consul can advise Finnish companies on how to get information on local business culture and find business partners, among other matters.
