If you fill out a residence permit application online, you can pay the processing fee via the Enter Finland -service or you can pay the fee to the Embassy's bank account in advance.  Description of payment must include name, surname and passport number of applicant. The fee is collected for the processing of the application, and it will not be refunded even if the decision on your application is negative.
