Responsibilities of mission

The Embassy of Finland in Pristina is the official representative of the Government of Finland in Kosovo.

The main duties of the Embassy are:

  • Strengthening of bilateral relations with Kosovo

  • Political dialogue, impact and follow-up of the developments in Kosovo as well as of the international actors and organizations in the country (EU, incl. the approaching mechanisms of the Union, EULEX, KFOR, UN, OSCE)

  • Monitoring the regional development and Kosovo’s EU relations

  • Supporting Finnish exports to Kosovo

  • Offering full civil services: consular and visa services

  • Promoting and utilizing the positive image of Finland in the Embassy’s work
