The Embassy of Finland in London is looking for a fixed-term assistant

The Embassy of Finland in London is looking for an assistant for a fixed-term employment of two years as of 1 May 2023 or as agreed. The duties of an assistant consist primarily of administrative tasks related to assisting the officials of the political and economic policy team.

The key tasks include:

  • Event, meeting, visit and travel arrangements
  • Assisting in Team Finland Business promotion
  • Managing calendars and electronic archives, correspondence and exchange of note verbales, preparation of travel and other invoices
  • Other tasks assigned by the supervisor

The requirements include relevant work experience, good communication skills both in writing and orally, excellent English language skills, good organizational skills, flexibility, diligency and excellent team work skills. A valid work permit in the UK is required.

Assistant is locally employed, which means that the contract will comply with the English employment legislation. There is a four month probationary period in the beginning of the employment.
