Finpro and Tekes uniting as Business Finland
As of January 1st, 2018 Finpro – the Finnish trade promotion organization – and Tekes – the Finnish Funding Agency for Innovation – will unite as Business Finland.
The new Business Finland will make public business services more effective. There will be one operator providing companies with services in internationalisation, innovation funding, foreign investment and travel. Business Finland has a staff of around 600 persons and nearly 40 offices abroad. It will also operate in 15 different regions in Finland.
Business Finland will be launching their new website at businessfinland.com on 8 January 2018. Services for companies interested in investing in Finland can still be found at the familiar website investinfinland.fi. For travel companies and tour operators, the Visit Finland services can be found at www.visitfinland.com/travel-trade, and the Visit Finland website for travelers will remain at visitfinland.com.
