Team Finland in Australia

The Team Finland network promotes Finland and its interests abroad: the internationalisation of Finnish enterprises, investments in Finland, and the country brand. The Team Finland operating model brings together the key actors and services in these fields. The core of the network consists of the publicly funded organisations operating in these fields, such as the ministries, Finland’s network of diplomatic missions, honorary consulates, Business Finland, national culture and science institutes, Finnvera, Finnfund, and the regional internationalisation services, built upon the ELY Centres.

Team Finland Ambassadors

Ludde Ingvall, Sydney

Sydney's Team Finland Ambassador is Ludde Ingvall. Ingvall is very well known in Australia after winning the Sydney – Hobart yacht race twice.

Lydia and Lauri Lassila, Melbourne

Melbourne's two Team Finland Ambassadors are Lydia and Lauri Lassila. Lydia Lassila is an Australian Olympic winner and bronze medalist (Vancouver 2010; Sochi 2014) and a very well-known and liked person in Australia. Lauri Lassila is a former Olympic athlete and now runs an IT-business in Melbourne.

Ross Norgard, Perth

Perth's Team Finland Ambassador is Ross Norgard. He is a well-known businessman and  investment banker whose grandfather's father was Finnish.
