Payment instructions

1. Passports, identity cards, notarial services and legalizations

Payment options:

1. At a local bank with bank transfer slip obtained at the Embassy, or

2. At the Embassy with local or international payment card (Visa and Mastercard), or

3. By online banking to the Embassy’s account (account details below).  

Embassy does not accept cash payments.

Passports and identity cards

 In Thailand, the passport or identity card can be picked up from the Embassy either personally or by an authorized person. Furthermore, they can be mailed directly to the recipient’s address, to Finnish Honorary Consulate or to a Honorary Consulate of another Nordic country (Chiang Mai, Hua Hin, Pattaya, Phuket) by commercial mail service. The mailing fee is THB 650, which is to be paid when submitting the passport or identity card application. Delivery directly to the recipient's address is also possible with registered express mail service EMS. The EMS mailing fee is THB 50.

Furthermore, the passport or identity card can be delivered to a Finnish or Nordic Embassy in Phnom Penh, Vientiane or Yangon by commercial mail service by prior arrangement. The mailing fee is THB 1500, which is to be paid when submitting the passport application.  

If the passport is delivered to another Nordic Embassy or Honorary Consulate, they may charge an additional fee for handing over the passport. It is recommended to check the exact cost directly from the office in question.

Notarial certificates

Notarial certificates can be picked up from the Embassy either personally or by an authorized person.  Certain types of certificates can also be mailed directly to the recipient’s address by registered express mail service EMS. The EMS mailing fee is THB 50, which is to be paid when requesting the notarial certificate.

2. Visas and residence permits

Payment options:

1. At the Embassy with local or international payment card (Visa and Mastercard), or

2. with QR-code.

Embassy does not accept cash payments.
