Workshop of Zero-Carbon Industrial Park Policy Interpretation and Business Opportunity Introduction
The Consulate General of Finland in Shanghai, in cooperation with GPIPC (the Green Partnership of Industrial Parks in China), will co organize a workshop at the Consulate General on 23 April 2026. The event aims to present the latest zero carbon industrial park policies and associated business opportunities for Finnish companies.
On 26 December 2025, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), and the National Energy Administration (NEA) jointly released the List of National Zero‑Carbon Industrial Parks (First Batch). A total of 52 industrial parks were included, such as the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone and the Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone.
The second batch of National Zero‑Carbon Industrial Parks is expected to be announced in the first half of 2026. The overall plan is to designate approximately 100 National Zero‑Carbon Industrial Parks nationwide.
The Consulate General warmly invites Finnish companies offering solutions for zero‑carbon industrial parks, such as clean energy, energy efficiency, carbon reduction, circular economy, sustainable construction, water treatment, and smart platforms, to register for the workshop to gain a better understanding of the latest policies and market opportunities.
