Preliminary Trade Programme

Preliminary Investment Programme

This visit offers a unique opportunity to advance your commercial objectives in two of China’s most dynamic economic regions: Fujian and Guangdong provinces. The programme is aligned with China’s current priorities, including:

  • Low carbon development
  • Advanced manufacturing
  • Circular economy solutions
  • Health and wellness

Why should your company join?

This delegation provides direct access to high-level stakeholders and market opportunities across complementary regions:

  • Fujian – a global hub for clean energy storage and specialised equipment manufacturing
  • Guangdong – a gateway to advanced integrated manufacturing ecosystem and international trade infrastructure.

Meetings with representatives from both provinces in Xiamen offer participants the opportunity to move seamlessly from specialised innovation clusters to large-scale commercial ecosystems.

This Minister-led delegation provides unparalleled visibility and access for participating companies seeking growth in this region. By incorporating a dedicated investment dialogue, the platform also enables Finnish regional operators to engage in high-level discussions to promote their regions to Chinese players seeking international expansion.

The visit coincides with the China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), where Finland is the Country of Honor. Finland will enjoy exceptional visibility, policy dialogue opportunities, and structured matchmaking—creating ideal conditions for translating connections into tangible results.

Beside to the programme in Fujian, there may be an opportunity for companies to participate in some official meetings organized for the Minister in Shanghai. The agenda for the Shanghai programme will be finalized in early August. Please note that the Shanghai part of the program may incur additional costs. These will be specified closer to the date and invoiced based on actual expenses. If you are interested in the Shanghai part of the program, kindly indicate this via the registration link .
