Finnish companies join Design Shanghai expo together in June 2023

Finnish companies will be presented at the Finland Pavilion at Design Shanghai Expo in Shanghai, China, from 8 to 11 June 2023. More than 600 exhibitors from 40 countries will participate at the expo. The expected number of expo visitors is more than 70,000.

The Finland Pavilion in Shanghai further supports and strengthens the positive image of Finland in China. The pavilion brings benefits to Finland and the participating companies, such as wider visibility and new networks.

The country pavilion, which echoes the architecture of Finnish summerhouses, was designed by PES Architects. The showcase wall in the pavilion is inspired by windows from different eras of Finnish architecture. The Consulate General of Finland in Shanghai and the Embassy of Finland in Beijing are responsible for implementing the pavilion in cooperation with Business Finland.

Among others, the participating brands include Lunawood, Sandudd, Splendour Culture Development, PES-arkkitehdit, Match Showroom Limited, and BD Technology and Culture. The pavilion will be moved to Beijing in autumn 2023 for the Design China Beijing event.
