Experience Finnish Sauna Culture in Beijing!

Beijing, September 2026 – The Embassy of Finland in Beijing and Genesis Beijing are pleased to present a collaborative mini exhibition celebrating Finland's world-famous sauna culture. Located in the lobby of the Genesis Building, where the Embassy of Finland is situated, the exhibition invites visitors to discover an essential part of Finnish life, wellbeing, and happiness.

The exhibition features a Finnish sauna installation alongside selected examples of Finnish design, including textiles, towels, and glassware. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the traditions and values surrounding sauna culture in Finland.

As part of the exhibition, the Embassy of Finland in Beijing is launching a social media campaign from 28 September to 23 October 2026. Visitors are invited to photograph the exhibition or create content inspired by Finnish sauna culture and share it on Weibo or Xiaohongshu using the designated tags and accounts. All published content must follow the local rules and regulations.

The Embassy will select the most creative and engaging posts. Winners have the chance to receive a special invitation to a guided visit and Finnish sauna experience at the Finnish Ambassador’s Residence in Beijing.

The Embassy of Finland will also host a Sauna Quiz at the exhibition from 12 to 16 October, held daily from 13:00 to 15:00. Visitors who attend during these hours will have the opportunity to test their knowledge of Finnish sauna culture and win a small sauna-themed souvenir.

Would you like to try a Finnish sauna in Beijing? Visit the exhibition, join the campaign, and discover one of Finland's most cherished traditions.
