Event: International Financing and Funding for Global Circular Economy Business Opportunities

Are you interested in partnering with international financing and funding organizations to develop your circular economy business worldwide? Several international financing institutions are experienced in financing and providing other support for circular economy projects and have strong interest in scaling them up. They are looking for new suitable projects as well as enhancing the sustainability of current projects in emerging markets.

 

​​​​​​In this session hosted in São Paulo on May 15th, 2025, you will hear the experiences and recommendations of circular economy experts that represent international financing and funding organizations covering all continents. Companies that have implemented circular economy projects in emerging markets will also share their experiences and lessons learned. We will be focusing on opportunities with IDB Invest, World Band, IFC and European Investment Bank. There will be examples and lessons learned from funded projects, among others through Finland IFC blended finance climate fund and Finland LAC blended finance climate fund as well as EU funded Global Gateway initiative. During networking and lunch you are invited to meet with experts to discuss your specific business needs. 

The session will be interesting for companies providing circular economy solutions for private and public sectors. EPC’s, project developers and companies integrating and implementing circular economy solutions in their operations could benefit from the event. Case examples will be from Latin America and the Caribbean.
