Advance voting in county elections and municipal elections in Brazil 2025
Finland’s county elections and municipal elections will be held on Sunday 13/4/2025. The advance voting is possible in Brazil on April 2-3, at the Embassy of Finland in Brasília and the Consulate in São Paulo. In addition to voting at an advance polling station, eligible voters staying abroad for the entire advance voting period and on election day may also vote from abroad by post. Remember to order and send the postal voting materials in advance so that your vote arrives back in Finland on time.
Voters will be able to vote in advance in two elections at the same time; however, county elections are not conducted in the City of Helsinki or in Åland.
There will be 115 advance polling stations abroad, located at Finland's diplomatic and consular missions or their offices in 82 different countries. Some of the advance polling stations will only be open on certain days during the advance voting period.
The Ministry for Foreign Affairs is responsible for organising advance voting in Finland’s missions abroad and on board Finnish ships sailing outside the Finnish territory during the advance voting period.
The Ministry of Justice has the overall responsibility for conducting the elections. It has published a list of the advance polling stations(Ligar a outro website.) and their opening hours on the Electionsfinland.fi website.
In addition to voting at an advance polling station abroad, eligible voters staying abroad for the entire advance voting period and on election day may also vote from abroad by post.
