Minister Rydman to participate in the world’s largest mining industry event with companies operating in Finland
Minister of Economic Affairs Wille Rydman will attend the annually organised PDAC, the world’s largest mineral exploration and mining event, and the meeting of mining ministers in Toronto, Canada on 3-4 March 2024. The main theme of the meeting will be responsible mining and the clean transition.

Minister of Economic Affairs Wille Rydman will lead a Team Finland visit to Canada and the US on 5–8 March 2024. The main themes of the visit will be marine industry and ports. A business delegation of 30 people from 20 different companies and organisations will participate in the trip.

Advance Polls in Canada for the second round in the Finnish Presidential Elections
All Finnish citizens over 18 are eligible to vote in the presidential elections regardless of domicile. In Canada voting in advance is possible by mail or at seven advance polling locations. Since none of the candidates received over half of the votes cast, a second round of voting will take place between the top two candidates.
