Performance
Dance artist and choreogrpher Sandrina Lindgren and performance and puppetry artist Ishmael Falke interpret the experiences of refugees with a piece called Invisible Lands. Miniature dolls portraying the masses of refugees escape war and destruction over the bodies of Ishmael Falke and Sandrina Lindgren.
Invisible Lands has been touring since its premiere in 2015, making its Canadian debut at Festival de Casteliers. According the the February 7, 2019 review in the Guardian review it is 'masterfully done, the combination of physical effort and contrasting scale making the wordless tale devastatingly sad'.
