Foreign Minister Tuomioja visits Croatia and Bulgaria

Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja will visit Croatia on 27 April. In Zagreb, he will meet with Foreign Minister Klinda Graba-Kitarovic, President Stjepan Mesic and parliamentary EU integration committee´s chairperson Neven Mimica.

Their discussions will focus on current EU affairs, including Finland´s upcoming presidency and Croatia´s accession negotiations, and other international issues.

From Croatia Tuomioja will travel to Bulgaria and its capital Sofia, where he will attend a transatlantic dinner on 27 April. The dinner event hosted by Bulgaria is an unofficial meeting between EU and NATO countries. The ministers are expected to discuss crisis management operations, EU and Nato relations, the situation in the Middle East and particularly Iran´s nuclear programme.
