Ukrainian Foreign Minister Gryschenko visits Finland

Ukrainian Minister for Foreign Affairs Kostyantyn Gryschenko will visit Finland on Thursday, 7 October, at the invitation of Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja. Their discussions will focus on the relations between the EU and Ukraine, the political and economic situation in Ukraine, regional issues and bilateral relations.

Foreign Miniser Gryschenko will also meet with President Tarja Halonen, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Paula Lehtomäki and Chairperson of the Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee Liisa Jaakonsaari. An investment protection agreement between Finland and Ukraine will be signed during the visit.

The Embassy of Ukraine and the City of Helsinki will unveil a plaque in commeration of the first diplomatic representation of the independent Ukraine at Meritullinkatu 15 where the diplomatic mission of Ukraine was located during 1918-21.
