Embassy of Finland is looking for a full time Driver and Office Services Attendant

The Embassy of Finland in Ottawa is looking for a locally hired full time Driver/Office Services Attendant to start working in September 2021 (or by agreement) for 2-year fixed-term contract (with an option for extension).  Application deadline July 11.

 

Duties:

- Driver for the Ambassador and for the Embassy

- Maintenance and upkeep of the official vehicles  

- Assistance in purchasing and servicing of electronic and technical equipment   

              - Purchasing office supplies

- Property maintenance and minor repairs

- Deliveries and pickups

- Assistance in customer service at the reception

              - Other duties and tasks assigned by the Ambassador

 

Requirements:

- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record

- Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team

- Flexibility; ability to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends)

- Previous experience of similar duties an asset  

 

Other skills and abilities:

A service-minded attitude, complete fluency in English, good communication and social skills and basic knowledge of office programs.
