Deputy Foreign Minister of Laos to visit Finland

Deputy Foreign Minister of Laos Phongsavath Boupha will visit Finland on 10-11 October. The visit takes place on the initiative of the Laotian party.

During his visit Phongsavath Boupha will meet Under-Secretary of State Marjatta Rasi, Director General Ritva Koukku-Ronde from the Department for Development Policy, Director General Elina Kalkku from the Department for the Americas and Asia and Director General Irma Ertmant from the Legal Department. In addition, Phongsavath Boupha and his delegation will visit the Nordic Development Fund.

The discussions during Phongsavath Boupha's visit will focus on, for instance, bilateral relations between Finland and Laos, as well as development issues.
