New Deputy Secretaries-General at the OECD
OECD Council approved on 20 February 2007 the proposals of the Secretary-General to fill the four vacancies for Deputy Secretaries-General. The four newly-appointed Deputy Secretaries-General are: Aart Jan de Geus, Netherlands (Political Economy of Reform); Thelma Askey, United States (Global Relations); Pier Carlo Padoan, Italy (Future Strategic Vision for the OECD); Mari Amano, Japan (Policy Coherence dossier).
