Finland expresses its gratitude for contributions to equality with special recognition – Pianoterra Association from Italy among the first recipients
Finland places great significance on promoting equality in the world, and wishes to thank those who are working towards this common goal. To express its gratitude, Finland will be presenting special recognition to individuals and groups around the globe who are committed to advancing inclusivity in society. The names of the first recipients from 16 countries were released on Monday, with one of the honours going to Italy.

Minister for Foreign Affairs Soini will visit Rome and Vatican City from 19 to 21 February and have a meeting with his Italian counterpart. This year marks the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Finland and Italy.
