"Finland 2004 - Focus on the Economy and Technology" now in print

Press Release
28.5.2004

This annual magazine covering the key areas of Finnish manufacturing and national economy, published jointly by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Trade and Industry, is available this year in English, German, Spanish and Russian.

"The demand for the first "Focus", published in 2003, was encouraging. Our aim now is to continue promoting Finnish high technology across the board, paying particular attention to project export plus new areas of quality, expertise and specialization. We also endeavour to attract new visitors to come and see Finland for themselves at different times of the year," says Juha Parikka, Editor-in-Chief of "Focus" and Head of the Foreign Ministry's Unit for Publications and Promotion.

The contents of "Focus" are decided by an editorial team, representing the two ministries and Finnfacts Institute, a private-sector information bureau on Finnish industry and economy. Orders for this free-of-charge publication can be addressed to [email protected].

"Focus" is produced by Täsmäviestintä Oy, with layout by Adults Aikuinen mainostoimistosuhde Oy.
