Responsibilities of mission

The Embassy of Finland is the official representative of the Finnish Government in the Republic of Serbia as well as in Montenegro and the Republic of North Macedonia. The Finnish ambassador to Serbia, Montenegro and North Macedonia is Mr. Niklas Lindqvist.

The tasks of the Embassy are the following:

  • sharing information on Serbia, Montenegro and North Macedonia with political and economic decision makers in Finland

  • enhancing and strengthening trade and internationalization of Finnish companies

  • promoting Finnish culture

  • assisting Finnish citizens in Serbia, Montenegro and North Macedonia

  • sharing information on Finland with authorities and citizens of Serbia, Montenegro and North Macedonia
