Consular section of the Embassy in Rome and Milan Office have adopted a new electronic appointment system for customer service. An appointment is necessary for passport, identity card and residence permit applications, as well as notarial and population information system services (registration is needed):
NB: In Rome it is possible to submit passport, identity card and residence permit applications, in Milan only emergency passports for return to home. Consulate in Milan do not take appointments for residence permit issues.
Telephone service is active in Rome from Monday to Thursday from 14:00 to 15.30 o'clock +39 06 8522 3330 and in Milan from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 13:00 o'clock +39 331 6640852.
