The European Commission decided on 22 May 2024 to increase Schengen visa fees as of 11 June 2024. The increase will apply worldwide.

The next, 46th Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting (ATCM) and the 26th Meeting of the Committee for Environmental Protection to the Antarctic Treaty will be held in Koch, India, on 20–30 May 2024. More than 350 participants are expected to attend the meeting.

Embassy of Finland in India has received messages asking for the authenticity of a job offer letter or a diplomatic immigration clearance letter that some people have received from an email address similar to the embassy´s email id. Please pay attention to the authenticity of any offer and make sure you don´t become a victim of financial fraud.

A second-year student of the Sonipat-based World University of Design has emerged as the winner of the logo-design challenge organized by the Embassy of Finland at WUD, to mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the Nordic country and India. More than 40 talented students from the varsity responded to the challenge, contributing over 70 designs.

Today the Foreign Ministers of Finland and India jointly unveiled a special logo commemorating the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between both the countries. The unveiling took place when the two foreign ministers met at the Raisina Dialogue in Delhi. The logo, designed by a talented Indian student, serves as a testament to the deep friendship, cultural exchange, and collaborative spirit shared between the two nations over the past 75 years and heralds a future of continued partnership, innovation, and mutual growth.

Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen will visit New Delhi, India, on 21–22 February. She will attend India’s most important foreign and security policy conference, the Raisina Dialogue. The visit will take place within the framework of co-operation between the Nordic and Baltic countries (NB8).

In the second round of the presidential election, a total of 62,294 people cast their vote in advance at Finland’s missions abroad. Altogether 220 crew members voted on board Finnish vessels.

The Embassy of Finland is pleased to announce the visit of Finnish Global Education Solutions (FGES) to India, scheduled for a two-week duration starting from January 29. This visit is aimed at strengthening connections between education stakeholders in Finland and India, following a recent formal partnership between FGES and Stones2Milestones, a prominent EdTech company in India.
