Finnish Short Film to be screened in New Delhi on 19 & 20 December
The Finnish Film Foundation has compiled a Collection of Finnish Short Films to be showcased abroad to celebrate Finland’s 100 years of Independence. The Embassy of Finland in New Delhi has the pleasure to introduce the collection to the Indian audience. The collection, comprising of 20 short films, is being displayed at India Habitat Centre on 19-20 December

Foreign Minister Soini to India
Minister for Foreign Affairs Timo Soini will visit India from 22 to 25 November. The Minister will continue to India from Myanmar. In New Delhi, he will lead the Finnish delegation to the Global Conference on Cyberspace (GCCS), held from 23 to 24 November. Minister Soini will attend the opening session of the conference and participate in a joint meeting of the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.

Minister Berner to visit India
Minister of Transport and Communications Anne Berner will visit India from 12 to 17 November 2017. She will travel to Delhi, Nagpur and Bangalore. Minister Berner will speak at a World Conference of the International Road Federation in Delhi, take part in the international ministerial meeting arranged in connection with the conference, and speak at the opening event of the Bangalore Technology Summit. The programme also includes several ministerial meetings

Indian Minister of State for External Affairs M. J. Akbar to visit Finland
Minister of State for External Affairs of India, M. J. Akbar, will visit Finland on 5–7 November 2017 on the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs Timo Soini. Minister Akbar will be the most distinguished visitor from India in Finland this year, which marks Finland’s 100 years and India’s 70 years of independence.
