Vacancy – Part-time Receptionist

The Embassy of Finland in Ankara is looking for a Part-time Receptionist (6 h per day) who is open- and service-minded, positive, multi-skilled team player with good interpersonal and communications skills to our Administration Team. We hope that the new receptionist could start the job on 1 October 2024 or as per agreement.


Your tasks

  • Daily management of Embassy’s reception and switchboard
  • Customer service, incl. information and guidance
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries and cargo
  • Provide administrative support for the team in various tasks
  • Other tasks assigned by Head of the Mission
     

What we expect from you

  • Documented (spoken and written) fluency in Turkish and English languages
  • Working knowledge of Finnish language would be an advantage
  • Relevant educational level, e.g. bachelor’s degree or similar administrative qualifications
  • A high sense of integrity and responsibility
  • An open- and service-minded and positive team player to work with customer service
  • Good communicator
  • Patient and polite attitude in customer service
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience from similar kind of work is an advantage


Additional information

  • The Part-time Receptionist will be employed according to regulations for local staff at the Embassy of Finland with local Turkish labor law prevailing.
