Olohuone Series Continued

The Olohuone gatherings at the embassy continued throughout February, March, and April, further strengthening the series launched earlier this year. During these events, we screened the Finnish films Home and Away, Je’vida, and The Helsinki Effect.

Each screening brought together different groups of guests, and we enjoyed the films in the company of intern colleagues from other embassies, education-sector stakeholders, and students from ATAUM (Ankara University EU Research Center).

The Olohuone concept, launched in January, is designed to invite our partners and stakeholders to experience Finnish culture through cinema in a relaxed and informal living-room-style setting. In addition to enjoying a Finnish movie together, the gatherings provide a valuable opportunity for open discussion, reflections on the films, and conversations about Finnish culture and current cultural themes.
