Nordic Ambassadors’ visit to Kars

The Nordic Ambassadors based in Ankara, including H.E. Andreas Gaarder (Norway), H.E. Ole Toft (Denmark), H.E. Pirkko Hämäläinen (Finland), and H.E. Malena Mård (Sweden), recently paid a joint visit to Kars in the eastern Türkiye.

During their visit, the delegation had various informative meetings, including discussions with local CSOs, and official meetings with Governor Ziya Polat and Mayor Ötüken Senger, focusing on regional development, cooperation, and shared priorities.

The programme also featured an exchange with representatives of the local Chamber of Industry, highlighting economic opportunities and strengthening business ties. In addition, the Ambassadors had the opportunity to explore Kars’ rich cultural heritage and historical landmarks, including Ani Ancient City.
