Finnvera and Business Finland met Turkish EPC contractors on 21.-23.9.

During the visit on 21.-23.9.2026 Finnvera and Business Finland met with internationally experienced Turkish EPC contractors (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) to discuss EPC+F transactions in Türkiye and in third countries.

EPC+F relates to public sector projects where the EPC contractor is also obliged to arrange financing to the project (hence the +F).

Finnvera’s role is to promote Finnish exports and Finnvera could participate in the financing of the EPC+F project if the EPC contractor sources from Finland. Business Finland facilitates free of charge the identification of Finnish suppliers to the EPC contractor. In summary: Finnvera and Business Finland are seeking new commercial opportunities for Finnish exporters through financing solutions.

Türkiye is an important market for many Finnish export companies, and Finnvera has a long history of supporting Finnish exports to the country. During the visit, discussions focused on the Turkish economy, financing conditions, and opportunities for Finnish exporters. Finnvera closely follows Türkiye’s macroeconomic and political developments, as well as emerging export opportunities, in order to support Finnish companies in international markets. The visit provided a valuable opportunity to exchange views with local stakeholders.
