The Embassy provides residence permit and legalization services on a limited basis due to COVID-19 pandemic. We accept all types of residence permit applications. Appointment requests by email only at [email protected]. VFS Global Visa Application Center accepts Schengen visa applications based on family ties or an established relationship. The Ministry for Foreign Affairs recommends exercising special caution when travelling to the EU and Schengen area The Ministry also recommends avoiding unnecessary travel to countries outside the EU and Schengen area, except for countries for which the restrictions on entry have been lifted.

Rules and guidance in different countries can change rapidly, which is why the Ministry for Foreign Affairs advises people travelling on business to always check the official website of the country of destination, to consider whether the trip is essential, and to act responsibly.

Advance voting abroad in Finland's municipal elections in 2021 – advance voting in Nepal
The municipal elections will be held on Sunday 13 June 2021. Advance voting will be possible abroad from 2 to 5 June 2021. The Ministry for Foreign Affairs is responsible for the organisation of advance voting abroad. Advance voting in Nepal will take place at the Embassy of Finland from 2 to 3 June 2021.
