Visa Application Centre opens in Nepal to ease applying for a Schengen Visa to Finland

Finland is outsourcing the submission of Schengen visa applications in Nepal. Finland Visa Application Centre maintained by VFS Global will be opened in Kathmandu in the end of  March 2018. New Visa Application Centre will make it easier to apply for a Schengen visa.

An appointment at the Visa Application Centre can be booked beforehand and the application can be completed electronically. The applicant must always submit the application in person and must give his or her biometrics.

Even after the Visa Application Centre has opened, the Embassy of Finland processes the applications and makes all the visa decisions.  The Embassy will continue handling all residence permit and passport applications.

At the moment it is not possible to schedule new visa appointments at the Embassy for April 2018. The appointments already scheduled for February and March will remain as agreed.

A website for visa applicants will be launched in March 2018.

फिनल्याण्डले नेपालमा सेङ्गेन भिसा आवेदन पेश गर्न बाह्यश्रोत प्रयोग गर्दैछ । भी एफ एस ग्लोबल द्वारा व्यवस्थित फिनल्याण्ड भिसा आवेदन केन्द्र मार्च २०१८ को अन्तमा काठमाडौंमा खोलिनेछ। नयाँ भिसा आवेदन केन्द्रले सेङ्गेन भिसाको लागि आवेदन गर्न सजिलो बनाउनेछ ।

भिसा आवेदन केन्द्रमा अग्रीम आबेदनगर्न सकिन्छ  र आबेदन विद्युतीय प्रणाली द्वारा पूरा गर्न सकिन्छ । आवेदकले सधैँ आफै उपस्थितभई  आबेदन पेश गर्नु पर्छ र आफ्नो बायोमेट्रिक्स दिन अनिवार्य छ ।

भिसा आवेदन केन्द्र खोलिसकेपछि पनि फिनल्याण्डको दूतावासले सबै भिसा प्रक्रिया र निर्णयहरू गर्नेछ । दूतावासले सबै निवासिक अनुमति र राहदानी आबेदनहरुको सञ्चालन गर्नेछ ।

हाल अप्रिल २०१८ सम्म दूतावासमा नयाँ भिसा आबेदन दर्ता गर्न सम्भव छैन । फेब्रुअरी र मार्चको लागि तयारी गरिएका आबेदनहरु भने सहमती भए बमोजिम रहनेछन् ।

भिसा आवेदनकर्ताहरूको लागि एक वेबसाइट मार्च २०१८ मा सुरू हुने छ।
