Market access for industrial products the topic of negotiations

The negotiations concerning market access for industrial products continue 25.-29.4.

The working week of the negotiation group started with a formal meeting on the 25th of April. At the end of the week the negotiation group will mostly gather for informal consultations. In addition, the member states of the WTO organize several informal meetings of different compositions.

The subjects for the negotiations during this week will be schemes for decreasing customs, sectoral initiatives and the removal of so called detrimental customs (low customs). The negotiation group is also expected to address the inadequate product coverage and the equivalents for value-based duties.
