Visitors at the booth can learn more about working life in Finland, career opportunities, startup support services and the high quality of life the country offers.
Finland’s Ambassador to Romania, Leena Liukkonen, will also speak at DevTalks Romania 2026, highlighting Finland’s strengths as a global deep tech and innovation hub. Her speech highlights Finland’s strong international reputation for innovation, education, and societal well-being, as well as the country’s unique combination of forward-looking development and high quality of life.
“As technology competition intensifies globally, Finland offers a unique environment where world-class research, business collaboration and quality of life go hand in hand. Our strong engineering culture, trusted institutions and close cooperation between universities and companies enable innovations to move quickly from research into real-world impact. At the same time, Finland is a place where international experts and their families can truly build a balanced and meaningful life,” Ambassador Liukkonen says.
Finland is also actively welcoming innovative startup teams looking to expand to global markets. Startup founders can benefit from Finland’s soft-landing services, vibrant innovation ecosystems and support instruments available for growth companies.
“Finland offers international professionals not only exciting career opportunities in technology and innovation, but also a society built on trust, equality and work-life balance. Different regions and cities across Finland each provide unique strengths — from dynamic startup ecosystems and global business networks to world-leading technology expertise and close research collaboration. Through Work in Finland, we want to help talents discover that in Finland they could build both a successful career and a fulfilling life,” says Laura Lindeman, Senior Director of Work in Finland Unit, Business Finland.
