Mission's responsibilities

The Mission of Finland to NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) manages Finland’s relations with NATO within the framework of Partnership for Peace (PfP) and acts as a go-between for the national authorities and NATO. It represents Finland in the NATO’s committee and working group meetings and carries out tasks associated with NATO-led crisis management operations.

The Mission monitors and reports on NATO’s activities and development concerning issues and areas of central importance to Finland.

It is the objective of the Mission to actively promulgate relevant information to policymakers, interest groups and citizens with regard to Finland-NATO cooperation.
