Finland is outsourcing the submission of residence permit applications in India
Finland is outsourcing the submission of Schengen residence permit applications in India. Finland Application Centre maintained by VFS Global will be opened in Delhi in February 2019.
An appointment at the Application Centre must be booked beforehand and applications can be completed electronically https://migri.fi/enter-finland(Link to another website.) The application must always be submitted in person together with the biometrics submission.
The Finnish Immigration Service will process all residence permit applications. The Embassy will continue accepting residence permit applications with limited amount of appointment slots available. The confirmed appointments will remain as agreed.
A new website as well as the call centre contact details for residence permit applicants will be launched 19th of February 2019.
