The Maharashtra Circular Economy Conclave 2026 is an official side event ahead of the World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF2026), bringing together policymakers, businesses, innovators, startups, researchers and financial institutions to accelerate the transition towards a resource-efficient and resilient economy.

Hosted in Mumbai, the conclave will serve as a platform to connect Maharashtra’s dynamic industrial ecosystem with Finnish and European expertise in circular economy, creating opportunities for collaboration, investment and innovation.

About the Event

As Maharashtra positions itself as a key driver of India’s circular economy transition, this conclave will explore how circular solutions can unlock economic value, strengthen competitiveness and accelerate sustainable growth.

The event aims to:

  • Showcase Maharashtra’s circular economy policies and investment opportunities
  • Highlight Finnish and European leadership and best practices
  • Facilitate collaboration between government, industry and innovation ecosystems
  • Promote scalable circular business models and technologies
  • Build momentum and partnerships leading up to WCEF2026
