Responsibilities of mission

​The Embassy of Finland is an official representative of the Finnish Government in the Republic of Indonesia as well as in Timor-Leste (Opens New Window)(East-Timor). It is also a contact point to ASEAN, Association of Southeast Asian Nations which has its secretariat in Jakarta.

The task of the Embassy is to

• give information on Indonesia and Timor-Leste to political and economic decision makers in Finland
• enhance and strengthen trade and internationalisation of Finnish companies
• promote Finnish culture and knowledge on Finland
• assist Finnish citizens in Indonesia and Timor-Leste
