Responsibilities of mission
The Embassy of Finland in Bucharest is the official representative of the Finnish Government in Romania and Moldova.
- The Embassy of Finland in Bucharest is responsible for Finland's relations with Romania and Moldova. The central mission of the Embassy is to act as a representation of the entire state administration.
- The Embassy's tasks include EU policy, foreign and security policy, promotion of commercial-economic relations, countryside work and civic services, and also development cooperation in Moldova.
- The mission of the Representation between Romania and Finland is to have a greater and more active interaction in EU affairs, to conduct a security policy debate, to support Finnish companies and subsidiaries, to increase Finland's visibility and thus influence and to assess Moldova's political and geopolitical development as part of a broader security environment.
