Statement by Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja on terrorist attack in Jerusalem

Yesterday’s appalling terrorist attack in Jerusalem is a gravely condemnable act for which the perpetrators must be brought to trial. A demand for efficient actions to prevent terrorism must be made to the Palestinian Authority. The reforms of the Palestinian Authority must be supported. Any aspirations to undermine its scope and legitimacy only hinder actions to prevent terrorism and to promote peace.
