Certificate of existence

A person can be issued with a certificate of existence for a reasonable purpose, such as for drawing the pension or for an estate inventory. The person must visit the mission in person and prove their identity. Finland’s honorary consuls may also issue the relevant notarial certificate.

You must bring proof of identity with a valid passport or ID card and address (utility bill etc.) to obtain this certificate. Fees apply. Please make an appointment.
