International Women’s Club’s Christmas Bazaar is one of the main events in Zagreb before Christmas. On December 6, 2009 it was arranged for the 16th time. The Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian and Danish embassies put up a special Scandinavian table. Proceeds of the bazaar will be donated to the Maternity ward of Šibenik hospital.

The President of the Republic of Finland has awarded our Honorary Consul Branimir Vlajo the Insignia of Knight, First Class, of the Order of the Lion of Finland in recognition of his services to Finland and Finnish-Croatian relations.
