The 19th Foreign Correspondents' Programme in Finland in August 2010
Are you interested in the work of a correspondent in a foreign country? Would you like to spend the month of August in Finland learning more about the country, its society and the Finnish way of life? If you are a newly graduated journalist or a student of journalism/communications soon due to graduate you may be eligible to apply for a scholarship to take part in the 19th Foreign Correspondents’ Programme (FCP) in Finland to be held in August 2010.

Finnish Immigration Service's forms have been revised
The Finnish Immigration Service’s residence permit application and citizenship application forms have been revised. The new forms have be taken into use on Monday, 11 January 2010. There have also been changes in the processing fees of applications from the beginning of this year.

Finnish Contemporary Art Exhibition at the Mimara Museum
The works of three Finnish contemporary artists: Mr. Jan Kenneth Weckman, Ms. Tarja Pitkänen-Walter and Mr. Teemu Kassila will be featured at an exhibition: Dialogues in Space. The exhibition will take place at the Mimara Museum from January 15th to February 7th,2010. These Finnish artists have their own distinctive style that conduct visual and informative dialogues in space and continue to do so even after the artists are not present anymore.

Application period for studies in Finland begins
Do you plan to study in Finland in 2010-2011? The application period for Bachelor Degrees conducted in English at Finnish Polytechnics is 11 January - 12 February 2010. The application period for Master’s Degrees at Finnish universities is from November to February, depending on the University and programme.

Nordic Embassies at IWCZ Christmas Bazaar
International Women’s Club’s Christmas Bazaar is one of the main events in Zagreb before Christmas. On December 6, 2009 it was arranged for the 16th time. The Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian and Danish embassies put up a special Scandinavian table. Proceeds of the bazaar will be donated to the Maternity ward of Šibenik hospital.
